Mary LaBianca came to the Chattanooga, TN area after working as a teacher and choreographer in the Philadelphia and San Francisco Bay area. She completed an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree from the UNC-Asheville and received her MFA in Choreography and Performance from Mills College in Oakland, California. She is currently working as the Director of Dance Eduction for the Southeast Center for Education in the Arts at UTC; teaching, choreographing and pursuing her interests in movement analysis.
